New set of film styles for Capture One Pro
Alex Svet of AlexonRaw has released a new set of remastered film styles – use Code CD10 for an extra 10% off the sale price
Alex Svet, the mastermind behind AlexonRaw – the wonderful Capture One training and resource site has released a set of remastered Film Styles and brushes. I have used Capture One since version 2.7 and have relied upon Alex’s film styles for my black and white work for longer than I can remember. (They are good – very good.)
Here are a few examples of the film style in use. The first image is straight out the camera. (Fujifilm GFX using the ASTIA profile from within Capture One) The others are marked in the caption. The beauty of these new styles is you can use them as layer with complete control over contrast, opacity and saturation.

Alex has many tools for use in Capture One. The film styles are useful to me – especially, if I want to try to match GFX and Leica files for a presentation. His videos on getting the most out of Capture One are incredibly helpful. This video – blog post on skin tone correction is a excellent example on the power of using styles and style brushes within C1. If you use the code CD10 you’ll save and extra 10 percent on any purchase from AlexonRaw – brushes, toolkits, etc..
