Coal and Ice Exhibition

I have several images in the Coal and Ice exhibition at the Reach/Kennedy Center in DC. When I shot this project, I intended it to be black and White to show the starkness between the mountains and mines.

The images in the show are in color – they are projected on tall screens.

Re-Processing the files

It is interesting to to me to go back to images shot in 2005 and see what I can out of the files with the newest version of Capture One. The B&W preset I used for these images is Agfa APX 25 from Alexonraw.com (APX 25 was one of my favorite films).

If you get a chance, go see the Coal and Ice exhibition about climate change. Tickets are free, it is an immersive exhibit with videos and stills.
